Rained out and a snowy surprise

Well Katie was supposed to cheer at a Colorado Avalanche game tonight (it's the NHL hockey team) They were going to cheer in the pavillion in front of the arena but it was raining and really cold so it got cancelled. Katie and all the girls were really disapointed but we made the best of it and went in and got to see the game (from the nosebleed section). It was still fun and we had hotdogs and nachos and totally pigged out. It's been a long time since we did anything like that. Kobe was actually really good and sat in my lap most of the time watching the game. Baby Kaleb must have been excited by all the noise because he was jumping around and kicking like crazy the whole time! Here are some pics from the game:

When we got home we were in for a surprise, all that rain down in Denver had been snow up here! It was really exciting to come home and see everything covered in white. The first thing Katie and Kevin did was have a snowball fight in the driveway. :) It's so weird, on Thurs. we were sitting on a blanket outside at her soccer practice and it was 75 and sunny and tonight it is 34 degrees we are playing in snow. I'm hoping it keeps snowing all night and we wake up to a white wonderland outside in the morning. :) Here are some pics of our very first snow:
